Product description
A gasket that is not mentioned anywhere in VW parts books, nor offered in a gasket kit, is the gasket mentioned here between the housing and the dynamo.
Naturally, this gasket was present at the factory and is therefore necessary. Without a gasket, oil splashes can cause leaks between the fixed dynamo support and the dynamo.
