from the late 1950s onwards, it was possible to switch from the cab to the cargo area as an option. To do this, the bench seat was replaced by two separate seats, the bulkhead was split into two parts and the spare wheel was moved to the rear.
The spare wheel was placed in the rear, in the leftmost corner, vertically in a crescent-shaped spare-wheel tray.
This spare wheel tray was never available as a separate part; for this, it was necessary to purchase a complete floor plate, of which the spare wheel tray was a fixed part.
Fortunately, this tray is now available separately as a reproduction part, both as a replacement for factory-fitted models and for those wishing to create their own tray.
