This support plate holds the rear part of the shift rod. Rust or loss during repair or restoration is the reason for purchase for many.
This support plate is made from laser-cut stainless steel to Volkswagen's exact dimensions. Compared to the steel original, rust is virtually eliminated and, with the correct dimensions, this is a reproduction that surpasses the original.
