Product description
Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but used universally. These parts can be identified by their reference number starting with the "N" of the German word "Normteile", meaning "standard parts". Just because it's a standard part doesn't mean it's still available today.
The hexagonal bolts mentioned here are identical to the original, with a tensile strength of 10.9 and a length of 15 mm. The 15 mm length makes these bolts unique, and they have only been used by the VAG Group.
Note: Always use Volkswagen-specified bolts with the correct tensile strength and length. Never use bolts that deviate from them. If it were that simple, Volkswagen would have done it and not chosen different sizes and/or tensile strengths.
