Product description
For injection engines, the temperature in the intake manifold must not be too high. If so, the fuel will evaporate before it can do its job.
To counteract this, special seals were used between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. These gaskets contain a layer of bakelite, which acts as an insulator reducing the heat emitted to the intake manifold.
These bakelite inlet gaskets are 4 mm thick and are only used for injection engines.
