With our classic Volkswagen Buses, the heaters are 100% mechanically activated, with a cable from the control lever on the dashboard to the control unit in which the heaters are integrated.
If the hot air can no longer be regulated, it may be the valve that is defective, but in many cases the problem is the control cable.
