Product description
To allow a correct adjustment of the headlamp, the adjustment mechanism must be free of defects. Rusty adjustment bolts are a common problem. This damages the threads of the pins or adjustment hooks and, in some cases, they have even rusted into each other.
The screws adjusted from the outside of the headlamp rim must be easily tightened. If this is not the case, check and replace the parts that cause the problem.
The bolts are supplied with adjustment pins with rubber seals and springs. Cars equipped with so-called inclined headlights (Volkswagen Beetle and Combi until 7.1967) require additional adjustment hooks, which are supplied separately. In this case, you will need an adjustment bolt in addition to the free hook, so you do not use the adjustment pin provided.
