Product description
Knocking noise in turns or during acceleration may indicate a worn constant velocity joint (CV joint).
Constant velocity joints allow the drive shafts to move relative to the gearbox and the front axle (T3 Syncro only) or the rear axle. As it is often impossible to know which seal is worn, we recommend replacing both as well as the CV boots.
Caution: Do not use universal grease (lithium) for constant velocity joints, but only molybdenum grease. Molybdenum grease is intended for high loads, e.g. for constant velocity joints, spindles and steering knuckles.
