Product description
There is a gigantic force on the bolts that mount the driveshafts (homokinets) to the flanges. It is recommended to always replace them and not reuse them. If you do not have the proper tools, purchase an XZN M8 cap (#3481), without it you will not be able to loosen and tighten the bolts in a normal way. Also, we recommend also replacing the locking plates, they keep the bolts in the right place.
Suitable for all models with intermediate shafts.
The XZN bolts are sold per 6 pieces, which is sufficient for one side (one joints).
Homokinets are only applicable if your car is equipped with an independent rear suspension, better known by the English term IRS (independent rear suspension). If you don't know exactly which rear axle is mounted on your vehicle, see if you have drive sleeves on both the wheel side and the gearbox side. If so, you are dealing with intermediate axles, or IRS. If these covers are only present on the gearbox side, you are dealing with swing axles. The T25 Syncro bus is the only exception to this, it also has front drive shafts with homokinets.
