Product description
The V-belt is worn when it starts to show fine cracks, although these are often not immediately visible. By twisting the V-belt slightly, any cracks can be spotted more easily. Therefore, check both the condition and the correct tension of the V-belt at every service. Refer to the workshop manual for the specified tension and adjustment.
We recommend always carrying a spare V-belt in your T25. A failed V-belt can quickly cause problems while on the road, and having a spare with you can prevent a lot of inconvenience.
Toothed V-belts were used on the T25. The toothed design makes the belt more flexible and helps it run smoothly around the various pulleys.
The application section states exactly which engine, alternator and any additional equipment this V-belt is intended for. Always check this information carefully before ordering. Nevertheless, an additional check of the dimensions of the fitted V-belt is always recommended.
