Product description
The biggest inconvenience when driving is the breakdown of the clutch. In most cases, this can be avoided by checking the condition of the clutch cable at each maintenance.
Corrosion and metal fatigue are the main causes of cable failure, but continuous sanding along cutting edges is also a common defect.
In case of wear due to metal fatigue, the cable usually breaks at the mounting points. In case of corrosion, it breaks where it is not protected, that's where you should check it regularly.
Before ordering, it is advisable to check if there are no additional parts to replace. The most common parts you will need for proper clutch operation are listed under the "Related Parts" and "Options" tab.
