Product description
As engine power increases, it's important that everything be adjusted accordingly. The flywheel bolt shown here is made of 4130 chrome moly. It retains the standard 36mm wrench size and comes with a larger compression washer.
This larger compression washer distributes the force over the surface better and also secures the crankshaft retaining pins, which is not the case with the stock spring washer.
There are two different versions to choose from:
Version 1 with a reinforced washer: In this version, the washer is curved to give extra strength to the flywheel bolt for better fixation. In addition, the flywheel bolt uses a felt seal like the original bolt.
Version 2 with a larger washer: Its diameter is slightly smaller than the version described above, but this washer is still much larger than the original and is completely flat. The flywheel bolt, on the other hand, is equipped with a modified needle bearing, the felt seal being replaced by a rubber retaining ring. The risk of the drive shaft being swept away by a rigidly operating felt seal when the motor is disengaged is thus a thing of the past.
Both versions have advantages and disadvantages it's just where your priority goes, is the more powerful compression washer then you choose the first version or for an improved flywheel bolt it will be the second version.
Note: Don't forget to grease the bearing well with the special clutch grease. If you forget to do so, the bearing will be dry and you will have to buy a new bolt (see the "Options" tab).
