Product description
When changing models from the Split Bus to the Bay Window, the filling of the brake fluid reservoir directly on the master cylinder was replaced by a separate filling bottle that could be filled or recharged in the cab.
This refill bottle is connected to the closed tank of the brake master cylinder by means of a preformed plastic tube.
After a while, you will have to deal with small cracks in the plastic of the hoses, which in the long term will lead to leaks. Check the condition of this hose regularly and replace it in case of cracks.
In addition to the hose clamps (from 8.1968), rubber fittings are used which are pressed into the hose. When mounted on the tank, the sealing is created by compressing the connections between the hose and the tank connections.
For the years from 8.1972 and later, fittings (rubber) are provided, up to and including the years 7.1972, you must order them in addition.
