Joka kerta, kun moottori kunnostetaan, kaikki laakerit on vaihdettava, tämä koskee myös kiertokankilaakereita.
Varmista, että yhdystangon osat pysyvät aina yhdessä ja että yhdystangot eroavat toisistaan enintään 5 grammaa. Tarkista kampiakseli mahdollisten epätasaisuuksien varalta, parhaiten se onnistuu liu'uttamalla sitä kynsillä laakeripohjan päällä. Jos havaitset epäsäännöllisyyksiä, kampiakseli on koneistettava.
Oikean koon nopeaa määrittämistä varten ilman erikoismittaustyökaluja on kehitetty helppokäyttöinen mittaustyökalu useille moottoreille, lisää tarvittaessa tämä lisävaruste (jos se on saatavilla moottoriin, katso lisävarusteet-välilehti).
Liitäntätangon holkkeja on saatavana vakio- tai ylimitoitettuina, jotka löydät oheisosat-välilehdeltä.
Joitakin liitäntätangon laakerityyppejä meillä on kahdelta valmistajalta, tällaisessa tapauksessa toisen merkin löydät vaihtoehdot-välilehdeltä.
