Product description
The T2 Split was originally equipped with an exterior mirror with an aluminium rear housing. This material is relatively vulnerable, which is why very few original mirrors have survived over the years without dents or other damage.
Under the Alternatives tab you will also find versions with a stainless steel rear housing. However, if you want to stay as close as possible to the original model, the exterior mirror listed here with a matt aluminium rear housing is the right choice. The matt aluminium can, if desired, be polished to a semi-gloss or even a high-gloss finish.
The mirror is supplied without a mounting clamp. If required, this can be ordered separately and is listed under the Options tab. If the mirror arms also need replacing, you will find these under the Related parts tab.
Maintenance: To keep the aluminium looking clean and attractive, we recommend using a special cleaning and maintenance product that is suitable for aluminium, among other materials. This can also be found under the Options tab.
