Product description
Volkswagen used three different types of door handles on the T2 Split over the years. On most buses these were made of plastic; only the most luxurious versions were fitted with chrome-plated steel door handles.
Corrosion or replacement for aesthetic reasons are the most common reasons for replacing the door handles. If the model of your existing plastic door handle matches, you can replace it without any problem with this luxury chrome-plated steel version, even if the year does not match exactly.
The stated year indicates the period in which Volkswagen fitted this version from the factory to the listed model.
If appearance is not the only reason for choosing it, this steel version also has the advantage of being stronger and more durable than the plastic version.
