Product description
The trim clips for the sill trims of the VW Type 3 differ from the other body trim clips.
The clips are inserted into the openings in the body, where they secure themselves. The stainless steel trim is then clipped onto them. These clips are only suitable for stainless steel trim as originally fitted by Volkswagen, and not for aluminium trim.
In theory, these clips can be reused, but in practice rust is often the main issue. As a result, they lose their clamping force and no longer function as intended.
