Product description
This hard plastic seal neatly closes the opening around the pulley at the front of the alternator. The seal ensures that the cooling air within the engine cooling system is properly guided.
This prevents cooling air from escaping around the alternator. A proper seal is important, as the airflow within the cooling system is essential for effective engine cooling.
Over time, this plastic seal can dry out, crack or deform due to heat and age. When this happens, cooling air can escape and the efficiency of the cooling system may decrease. It is therefore advisable to replace a damaged seal in time, so the airflow and engine cooling remain optimal.
