Product description
This engine lid emblem featuring only “1200” was used by Volkswagen exclusively for the 1966 model year. It was the first year the 1200 Beetle received an engine lid emblem, but also immediately the last. In the following model year, when the 1200 Beetle was designated VW 1200, no emblem was fitted. This was reserved for the more luxurious versions.
This reproduction is made from chrome-plated stainless steel. Rust and other forms of corrosion are therefore a thing of the past. Naturally, this 1200 emblem can be fitted to any 1200 Beetle, whether or not it was originally delivered with one from the factory.
Do not forget to order the corresponding mounting clips. These can be found under the options tab.
