The name "EMPI" is not unknown to many, EMPI was one of the first not to specialize in the phenomenon of air-cooled VWs. Over the years, EMPI has built up a very good reputation in the world of customisation and tuning.
These metallic "EMPI" emblems originally come from the VW Beetle "EMPI GTV" which entered the US market in the early 1970s. At that time, you could buy a VW Beetle in "GTV" version at the VW dealer. "EMPI had selected for this version a set of accessories designed to give the Volkswagen Beetle a sportier look. Part of this set of accessories was the "GTV" emblem fixed on the right side and the "EMPI" logo emblem for the glove box.
The emblem is mounted with the self-adhesive holder.
