Product description
Seeger rings are opened with Seeger ring pliers. After sliding them onto the shaft, they drop into a notch. When the pliers are released, they lock firmly into the notch.
The circlip mentioned here, suitable for shafts with a diameter of 17 mm, is used to secure the countershaft in manual gearboxes of the models and designs mentioned.
In addition, these circlips are also used on the main shaft of the VW Thing and VW Type 3 gearboxes.
Finally, this circlip is used on the VW Vanagon Syncro to secure the actuator shaft in the limited-slip differential.
