Product description
Seeger rings are opened using Seeger ring pliers. Once slid onto the shaft, they fall into a notch. When the pliers are released, they clamp firmly in the notch.
For the years and models shown, the clutch fork is fixed at two points using the seeger rings shown below.
These circlips are also used on the countershaft of the Beetle and the Karmann Ghia with automatic transmission.
Finally, the Split Bus uses this circlip to secure the brake pedal shaft on left-hand drive models.
