Product description
Seeger rings are opened using Seeger ring pliers. Once slid onto the shaft, they fall into a notch. When the pliers are released, they clamp firmly in the notch.
For the years and models shown, the clutch fork is fixed at two points using the seeger rings shown below.
In addition, these circlips are also used on the gearbox input shaft of the Beetle and Split Bus models and model-years mentioned.
Finally, the Beetle and Karmann Ghia use this circlip to secure the clutch plate bearing on vehicles with automatic gearboxes.
