Over the years, moisture is generally responsible for the deformation and weathering of cladding panels. Volkswagen discovered this problem years ago, so the cab doors, sliding door and tailgate are fitted with a piece of plastic before the panel is attached to it. Often the plastic is completely missing or is torn or crumpled in between. So, before attaching the panel, put a piece of plastic over the metal.
Over the years, Volkswagen has had a choice of several colours and materials. As it is impossible to keep all colours in stock, we have limited ourselves to the most common colours and materials, this is black vinyl.
This 9-piece set includes all the trim panels for the Volkswagen Vanagon that were fitted as standard in the passenger car version.
The 9-piece set, like the separate cabin door panels, is made of waterproof hardboard panels, covered with a foam underlay and covered with high quality vinyl that is equal to the original. Cranks, locks and ashtrays have been taken into account, in these places the hardboard has been perforated without perforating the vinyl through. So you can decide for yourself if you are going to use this opening, also think about electric windows where the crank is not used, or the choice not to replace the ashtrays.
