Product description
Baja bumpers are made from 38 mm tubular steel and provide optimum protection for the body and engine.
The front bumper is attached to the two lower bolts on the front axle and to the strips provided on the side of the front axle, which hold the bumper in place. It's best to weld the strips to the front axle to reinforce the bumper's attachment.
The rear bumper is attached to the upper shock absorber bracket using the brackets supplied, and to the large gearbox bolts at the bottom. The rear bumper is designed so that it can be inserted further forwards or backwards as required. Once the correct insertion depth has been determined, you can choose to weld the parts together or secure them with a bolt-and-nut assembly (drill holes right through).
The rear bumper is also available in a weighted version. In terms of applicability, it's the same thing, except that this version features additional side reinforcements and a central rear reinforcement. Take the additional side reinforcements into account when choosing your exhaust system.
