Product description
The license plate is attached to the rear of the service flap. To access it, the license plate is hinged to the flap.
The service flap is used to check the oil level and top up if necessary, as well as to top up coolant for cars with water-cooled engines.
The service flap is fitted with a foam rubber gasket that covers the entire rear of the flap. This seal prevents dirt from entering and ensures that the paintwork is not damaged and the flap does not rattle.
In most Volkswagen Bus models, this gasket has deteriorated over the years and only remnants are visible. This gasket must be glued to the service flap. If necessary, glue is required, as indicated in the "Options" tab.
