When installing, among other things, headliners, it is necessary to glue the edges of the upholstery to the bodywork. The edges of the plastic protective foil behind the door panels must also be glued.
The professional Womi W228 Spraybond adhesive has been specially developed for these applications and is the result of years of development and practical experience. This universal spray adhesive is ideal for larger surfaces and easy to apply. Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to the parts to be bonded, making sure to properly mask off surrounding areas. The upholstery can then be positioned tightly and neatly.
Unlike traditional adhesives, this spray adhesive is easy to control, preventing the glue from soaking through the material and causing visible stains. Without using the proper adhesive, neat and tight installation of headliners is virtually impossible.
The adhesive is suitable for various materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, textiles and different types of plastics, and can be used for both temporary and permanent bonding. The processing temperature ranges from 5°C to 30°C and the temperature resistance is -10°C to +80°C.
Under normal conditions, this temperature resistance is more than sufficient for use in vehicles. However, if temperatures are expected to exceed 80°C, for example due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, it is recommended to use a heat-resistant adhesive, such as the version listed under the alternatives tab.
