Product description
This particular socket was only used for the headlamp washer pump. It was not originally supplied by the factory, but had been modified by Volkswagen.
If, for any reason, the washer pump had to be replaced, an improved version was installed, in which the plug had a contact lock and better resistance to moisture.
If your pump has never been replaced, this plug will probably not be suitable, and you'll need to make the connection with flat plugs. If your pump has been replaced by the modified version, you will need the plug mentioned here. This also applies to the purchase of a new pump, which is mentioned in the related parts tab.
