An inline fuse must also be fixed.
For this purpose, on most Type 1 engines, Volkswagen provided a hole on the right side of the fuse holder where the special fuse holder is clipped. in the late 1960s, the floating fuse was used for multiple purposes and Volkswagen models, an additional holder had to be developed for this purpose. This became a bracket that can be mounted anywhere by means of a screw eyelet.
The holder with clamping ring was improved specifically for the VW Beetle from the model year 1972. To better secure the fuse holder, two locking pins, which look like barbs, were installed. The clamp was already made of spring steel so that the fuse holder would stay in place. To ensure that the holder could not be moved and opened after assembly, locking pins were used that fell between the two halves of the holder during clamping.
These locking pins were used from the beginning with the bracket intended for screw mounting.
All brackets are 100% identical to the original, even the matte color of the galvanized coating is identical to the original.
