You can choose to install a carpet set as was originally the case with mainly rubber mats on the floor, but you can choose the much more luxurious option with this Loop pile Interior set. The rubber mats will replace the carpets, which not only gives a more luxurious look, but also offers more comfort.

For most model years and models, a suitable carpet set is available in black or mottled gray in standard Bouclé, deluxe Bouclé, or Bouclé with a ribbed texture.

The following parts are covered with this set of carpets:

- left and right heating channels ¹
- complete chassis sheet, including the part above the tunnel ²
- in front of the pedals against the inner front
- left and right against the inner wings ¹

The visible edges are sewn, the pedals have a rubber heel protection. On older models the heating outlet at the front is finished with rubber and in cars that have a clamping band on the heating channel, the carpet assembly has a rubber band to fix it here.

The complete carpet assembly must be glued with aerosol glue or adhesive spray (see Options tab). First spread out all the pieces and carefully look at how and where each piece should be glued and in what order before starting the gluing. Because this set is much more complete than the original carpets, you can't put it next to the original to compare.

All kits are intended for cars that have the footrest on the passenger side. The carpet set for the VW 1200, VW 1300 and VW 1500 between the years 8/1968 and 7/1972 is equipped with additional carpet pieces sewn on the inner wings. This is only applicable if the heating controls are fixed to the inner wing (only used by Volkswagen between 8/1968 and 7/1969). If your heating controls are operated from the vent itself, you can remove these parts, or if you don't mind, just leave them in place.

Please note: The carpet in the trunk floor section (cargo area behind the rear seat) is not included, please add it (see Options tab).

¹ the cut-outs for the heating vents must still be cut out if there are any in your kit
² the openings for the hand brake and gear lever still need to be cut out
