Product description
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who change the oil but find it absurd and ignore the whole maintenance program. If you don’t know the maintenance history of your VW, don’t take any risks and start by flushing your engine. This will remove any tarry residues that remain in the engine and are stuck to everything. Then carry out the maintenance at the recommended intervals and monitor it closely. If you work according to the Volkswagen maintenance schedule, you do not have to rinse the oil out every time you carry out maintenance. As a guideline, you could do this at every major service, as this will prevent deposits, which can turn into tar sludge.
To rinse the engine, follow the instructions below :
- run the engine at operating temperature
- change the oil
- fill your engine with flushing oil to the maximum
- let the engine idle for 20 to 30 minutes
- let the rinsing oil drain off
- replace the oil filter and/or oil sieve
- fill the engine with the prescribed engine oil
