Product description
On the Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and VW Thing, the left lever next to the handbrake opens the foot heater for the rear passengers, a system that is fully operated with solid cables. If you think about it carefully, Volkswagen was ahead of all other car brands, adjustable foot heating for the rear passengers is still very rare even today.
From the left hand lever next to the handbrake a solid cable runs through a fixed tube in the tunnel to both the left and right side, after which the cable is mounted with a crown stone on the cable of the heating valve.
The cables mentioned here are, as it were, the last part of the route, on which the valves are clamped. The total length is 44 cm, which still has to be adjusted to your correct length.
