Product description
On every classic Volkswagen, the handbrake is neatly finished with a soft rubber or hard plastic cover, which hides the handbrake mechanism from view.
On the Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Kübel, the threaded rods to adjust the hand brake often stick through the rubber. In most cases, the cable used is too long. If this is also the case for you, check the length of the cables that are currently mounted, compare them with the lengths that are available and replace them. Then fit a new rubber.
The rubber covers have a flat section at the bottom, which should sit under the rubber mat or the carpet. In this way, the cover does not come up when the hand brake is operated and the whole is neatly finished.
