Product description
This nut with a M16 x 1.5 thread and a height of 8 mm is used for different uses in the different VW models.
- for mounting the steering wheel
- as a front wheel bearing nut on the right side (2 pieces required)
- for the main drive shaft of a synchronized gearbox
- for the automatic gearbox parking lock
When it used as a nut for the steering wheel, some VW models refer to complete years of construction, it is important in this case to check the chassis number, the nut is to be used starting from the mentioned chassis number.
