Product description
Officially, this accessory came on the market to protect the paint when the front trunk was opened. Shortly after its introduction, the original purpose was forgotten and most VW owners installed it purely for cosmetic purposes.
The protection is mounted under the handle, so it is necessary to remove the handle with the plastic sealing parts. The protection is mounted between the handle and the trunk lid, you do not need any additional mounting material.
This part is made of polished stainless steel or aluminum and has a rubber base plate to ensure that the stainless steel protection cannot scratch the paint.
