Product description
If you want to make or shorten brake lines yourself, you will need a flaring tool to flare the brake line fittings onto the pipe. Please note that brake lines must always be double flared.
This 2-in-1 flaring tool set is suitable for double flaring soft steel tubing and for single flaring soft copper, aluminum and brass tubing.
The set includes a heavy-duty pipe cutter with deburrer, suitable for pipes from 4 to 28 mm, allowing both cutting and internal deburring. It also includes a flaring tool, a flare bar and the necessary adapters for double flaring in sizes 4, 4.75, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm.
Our classic Volkswagens are factory-equipped with 4.75 mm brake lines, just like our complete brake line kits. However, our loose copper brake lines have a diameter of 5 mm. Please note that there is no perfectly fitting adapter available for this size.
