New brake lines are always delivered unbent, where you can bend wide bends by hand, sharper bends increase the chance of folding the brakeline.With these pliers you can bend pipes up to an angle of 90º without the risk of folding them. The pliers are divided into two parts for bending the original 4.75 mm brake pipe and for brake pipes from 5mm up to a maximum of 6.5 mm.
You may think you can bend it without this tool and bend the pipes with a lesser radius than original but that is not possible for every application. Sometimes you can do nothing but maintain the original shape of the brakeline.
Please note: only use the pliers to bend sharp bends that can not be manufactured manually. When the brakeline is clamped the coating on the steel brake lines can be slightly damaged.
