Product description
The seals for the side cargo doors consist of several parts. There is no complicated construction, just simple individual lengths of rubber profile that are clamped into the designated channels.
The rubber profiles listed here have the correct grey rubber colour, feature rounded corners and are, of course, made from solid sponge rubber. This is superior A-quality and identical to the original Volkswagen version.
The B-quality seals, which you will find under the Alternatives tab, are made from black rubber and are hollow inside.
The seals are designed to be pressed into the channels without glue or any other adhesive. If a channel has widened due to corrosion or is no longer fully in shape as a result of a less successful repair, use only a minimal amount of silicone-free sealant to keep the seal in place.
