Volkswagen never delivered the lower part of the window frame that fit in the door separately, even though it's a part that can be unscrewed. This is actually quite strange, as the bottom is the most likely to rust, but unfortunately you couldn't avoid ordering a complete frame.
Although Volkswagen never delivered this part separately, there is a very good solution. No, you don't need to buy a complete frame, we have the lower part available separately to replace the rusty original.
In the past, reproduced parts were often of inferior quality, nowadays we try to outdo the original and this has been very successful with these horizontal windscreen channels. They are reproduced one by one and made of stainless steel, which means a unique assembly that you will never have to look at again.
