Product description
The kingpins are supported by bronze bushings in the spindles at the top and bottom. If you have decided to replace the kingpins with new ones, you can use the standard bush, if you are revising your existing spindles, you will probably need an oversized bush.
Remember that these bearings must be reworked, special running-in tools and a press must be made available to you.
Note: If the bearing bushings are not lubricated at the correct maintenance frequency, they may run dry and wear out. Chances are that if the VW Bay Window had been serviced in time, with the bearings lubricated, there would have been no play, which is all the more important to perform good maintenance at all times.
