Product description
This bearing bushing is used for two applications. On the Volkswagen T2 Split it is used as the upper and lower bushing in the spindles where the pins are supported. On the T2 Bay the same bushing is used in the idler steering arm housing.
If the bushings are not lubricated according to the prescribed maintenance intervals, they can run dry and wear out. In many cases, play could have been prevented if the VW Bus had been properly maintained and the bushings regularly lubricated. All the more reason to carry out proper maintenance.
If all bushings need to be replaced, four are required for the spindles of a T2 Split. For the idler steering arm housing of a T2 Bay, one bushing is sufficient.
