Product description
From chassis number 149 431 008 onwards, the Karmann Ghia convertible was equipped with a glass rear window, which greatly improved the visibility to the rear. It was also possible to choose the heating of the rear window as an option.
The rear window had to be able to hinge in order to open the soft top, so the rear window had to be detached at the top by a lock, after which it could be lowered.
The locking hook mentioned here is mounted through the glass with two bolts and a threaded plate on the outside. The locking hook is identical to the original, it is chrome plated and comes without the threaded plate, bolts and rubbers.
Check the options tab and order the rubbers as well, transferring the old rubbers is not an option due to the age of the car.
