Product description
The trim under the license plate light housing of the Karmann Ghia is mounted using a total of six clips.
Four clips slide into the molding and are single-use. They need to be turned half a turn with a pair of pliers to secure the trim to the license plate housing. The two outer clips are slid into the outer end of the trim and secure around the license plate housing.
Once the trim has been removed, you'll need to replace these clips. You will eventually be able to reuse the two outer clips, but due to age they will have lost their clamping capacity.
