Product description
For wipers controlled by a button on the dashboard, most failures occur in the pneumatic washer section of that button.
In a dashboard switch equipped with a windshield washer, it is important that you first fix the dashboard switch, mount the button with the push rod, pressurize the system and test it. Testing the windshield washer by only inserting the rod without the switch being mounted can lead to the breaking of the rod or the back of the washer switch. While pressing, you will feel resistance but with this you do not push open the switch. If you push through a bit further it will open and the spray will reach the windscreen, this only works when everything is properly assembled.
Note: When connecting the water hose to the windshield wiper switches, the hose closest to the dashboard goes to the tank and the other to the nozzle head. This way of connection differs from the original, if the connection is incorrect, the water pressure will damage the switch, it is not possible to claim the warranty in such a case.
