Product description
The air sucked in by the engine passes through the carburettor venturi, which is a kind of constriction in the carburetor. This constriction accelerates the flow of intake air, creating a negative pressure (vacuum). This negative pressure allows the gasoline to be drawn through the main nozzle and mixed with the air.
The venturi controls carburetor sensitivity. The narrower the venturi, the higher the air speed, and vice versa. The venturi is therefore chosen according to the use or purpose for which you are going to use the engine, and above all the rpm at which you want to run. A venturi that is too small will result in poor cylinder filling at high revs, and one that is too large will cause problems at low revs.
