In addition to quality A, the front hood rubber of the Volkswagen Beetle was also available in a lower quality B for models after 1961. The difference is immediately visible in the lower quality edge finish, but the biggest difference is in the service life. Another compound has been used for these rubbers, which is much cheaper, but will also dry much faster. This drying can be slowed down by treating the rubber regularly with, for example, Autoglym Bumper Care.
The rubber of the Volkswagen Beetle 1303 is delivered as quality A, without the fixing clips (see options tab).
