Product description
With lowered cars, there can be problems with the tie rods, with extremely low cars, they will hit the fuel tank. But even with normally lowered cars, the ball joints of the steering rods will wear much more heavily because the steering angle has increased.
The perfect solution is to mount the ball joints instead of on the top of the spindle, now from the bottom, the steering bars are mounted upside down.
This displacement assembly consists of two sleeves for the left and right rail ball joints, which must first be mounted in the spindle, allowing the ball joints to be mounted from below. For mounting, it is necessary to drill the spindle to the outside dimension of the bushings, i.e. there must be no conical path in the spindle.
If you own a pre-1968 Volkswagen Beetle, you can also use this set, but it is necessary to use the post-1968 steering tie-rod ball joints.
