This sport exhaust is only intended for the VW Thing, for which there wasn't much sport exhaust in the past.

The VW Thing is very popular, there in its civilian version, whereas in Europe this all-terrain vehicle was mainly used by the military, the civilian version only came on the market much later. In recent years, the love for the VW Thing has grown stronger and stronger in Europe, more and more military versions are being converted to civilian versions and the demand for spare parts is growing, so it was not inevitable that the VW Thing should be equipped with a sports exhaust system.

This "VW Thing" exhaust gives a heavier sound and, due to the larger diameter of the pipes at the ends, a better flow, which helps to increase power.

This is an exhaust intended for civilian use, i.e. with the use of heaters. But if you have an army version with an independent cabin heater, you can also assemble it without any problems. All you need is a replacement system for the heat exchangers which makes the link between the fan shroud and the heat exchangers (see options tab).

The exhaust tips exit into the bumper like the original.

The black transport paint is only meant to prevent rusting during transport and storage. If you want to keep the exhaust nice and black, you will have to treat it regularly with heat-resistant lacquer, immediately after starting, the transport lacquer will largely come off.
