Product description
When replacing the heat exchanger or the exhaust pipe, the mounting materials can in most cases no longer be reused.
Sealing rings must always be replaced, as they are single-use. But also brackets, nuts and bolts are often no longer worth mounting.
The assembly mentioned here includes all parts necessary to mount the heat exchanger on the exhaust and/or the exhaust pipe on the exhaust and applies only to type 1 engines.
With one set, it is even possible to choose between a standard mounting set (galvanized steel) or a stainless steel version.
With this latter set, you are forever safe from rust. If you have purchased a stainless steel exhaust, heat exchanger replacements and/or exhaust pipes, or are planning to do so, also take the stainless steel mounting kit, otherwise you will always have rust and that is precisely why a stainless steel exhaust system is designed.
