Product description
The exhaust of our Volkswagen won't last forever, the exhaust replacement will come to everyone at some point. An exhaust will last longer if the car is used a lot, but if it is used little, it will need to be replaced more quickly. Moisture stored in the exhaust silencer is more likely to turn into corrosion in occasional use than in daily use.
The original muffler model as we know it is no longer produced anywhere in the world, but a replacement model has replaced it. This is a standard exhaust that differs only in design and method of installation. A type 4 exhaust was used, equipped with a heat shield and adapted to easily replace the original.
The connection to the heat exchangers is now made with a flexible aluminium tube instead of the original spacers, which has the advantage that this replacement is suitable for all Type 3 engines.
The exhaust is supplied as a complete unit including gaskets and mounting hardware for the exhaust itself, exhaust gaskets are not included, please take them in addition.
